I am usually the one who gets the recommendations.  I don't have access to MTV or VH1 for about 90% of the year, but the latest band I have gotten into is Hollywood Undead.  I have recommended them to all of my friends.  And The Lonely Island.

Being out to sea so much, I utilize quite a lot of news websites, but the one I like the most is cnn.com.
